Upcycled Victorian Style Carved Timber Framed Rectangular Wall Mirror
Mirror was rebraced with wood in approximately August 1972 (dated from the newspapers used as cushioning) and the original mirror was probably replaced.
Timber frame was repainted to give the shabby chic distressed look (date unknown).
Original dark timber frame is solid and heavy. Slight variations in the carvings indicate that it was probably hand carved, and likely dates to the early 19th Century. Frame could be stripped and brought back to its original splendour with a little patience and care.
